Many experts and consumers are of the consensus that this model is currently perhaps the best LCD TVs on the market in terms of image and video performance. It should be noted that LCD TVs do not produce blacks as plasma TVs.

The shades of blacks on this model are the deepest I've seen on an LCD HDTV. This makes the image more natural and create a better contrast.
